Idyllic Yet Simple Oceanfront Resort Stay

Resort was very nice. However, since we were staying in a privately owned room the staff was not very helpful. However, host was very responsive and helpful. Room was clean and stocked with snacks and helpful amenities (including snorkling equipment and boogie boards). Furniture was worn/damaged, but functional. Door to balcony was very difficult to open, noisy, and screen was damaged, and rust spots could be seen on metal frame of hallway door. (Host said hotel is responsible for these doors). At end of stay, was asked to remove all trash and had to place in dumpster in parking lot. Despite these issues, I provided 5 stars since room was priced fairly, was clean, host was accommodating, and overall we were satisfied.
